1% from local businesses. For one community.

One day.
One percent.
One bigger impact.

1ForOne brings local businesses together to give 1% of what they make on one chosen day to a cause that matters.

How it works

You keep 99%. Give 1%. Just for one day.

The idea

Just one out of every hundred.

99 stays with the business1 goes to the cause

A business making $5,000 on its 1ForOne Day gives:

$50

$4,950 stays with the business.

How it works

One day is
all it takes.

Four steps. No sign-up fees, no payments through us, no long-term commitment.

  1. 01

    Pledge your day

Choose one day when your business will participate in 1ForOne.

  2. 02

    Do business as usual

Open your doors. Serve your customers. Run your business exactly as you normally would.

  3. 03

    Give the 1

Calculate 1% of that day's sales and donate it directly to the designated charitable organization.

  4. 04

We add it to the impact

Submit confirmation and 1ForOne adds your contribution to the collective campaign impact.

For businesses

Keep the 99.
Give the 1.
For one day.

Giving back shouldn’t require a complicated program or a massive commitment.

Choose one day.
Run your business normally.
Give 1% of that day’s sales.

That’s it.

  • 01Simple one-day commitment
  • 02Support a children’s charity
  • 03Be recognized as a 1ForOne participating business
  • 04Receive social media exposure through 1ForOne
  • 05Receive digital campaign materials
  • 06Become part of a community-wide movement

What you get in return

Give the 1.
Get seen by many.

Every participating business is featured by 1ForOne — on our social media, in campaign materials, and as part of a community-wide movement people want to support.

That exposure can bring in new customers and new sales — potentially more than the 1% you gave.

You help a good cause. The community helps you back. A win-win.

Our first campaign supports Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, fighting childhood cancer. It was started by Alex Scott, a 4-year-old who set up a lemonade stand for kids like her. We’re looking for businesses ready to turn one ordinary day into something bigger — for kids.

Our story

Why 1ForOne?

We started with a simple question:

What if giving back didn’t require businesses to make huge donations?

1ForOne was founded by two high school students interested in business, entrepreneurship and the power businesses have to strengthen their communities.

Corporate giving and corporate philanthropy usually mean big budgets and big companies. We think giving back to the community should be simple enough for any local business.

Instead of asking one company for a lot, we’re asking many businesses for a little.

Every 1ForOne campaign supports kids. Twice a month, 25–50 local businesses give 1% of one day, and each month we rotate to a new children’s charity.

One day.
One percent.
One collective impact.

Meet the founders

Two students.
One idea.

Through our own research, we realized how many kids face challenges with their health and everyday life — every single day.

As aspiring entrepreneurs, we wanted to bring business into helping. 1ForOne is the line between the two: local businesses doing what they already do, for kids who need it.
